Law Faculty is one of the largest academic units of Pushkin Leningrad State University. There are 6 departments training multi-skilled lawyers. There are the postgraduate study, various specialized structural units such as the law clinic, the courtroom and the criminalistic laboratory at the Faculty.
The Faculty has been cooperating with many state institutions of St. Petersburg and Leningrad Oblast for many years. There students have all kinds of practice, and they receive positive reference letters.
For example, students have their training practice at Public Prosecution Office and Office of Investigation of the Investigative Committee of Leningrad Oblast, at St. Petersburg and Leningrad Oblast Police Departments, in structures of The Federal Tax Service, The Federal Service of Judicial Officers, the Federal Migration Service, Legislative assembly, and attorneys’ offices.
The teaching staff of the Faculty are 53 persons (15 Doctors of Science and 27 Candidates of Science). Implementing the international cooperation and exchange programmes, the Faculty invites teachers from the Baltimore University (the USA) and the University of Alcala (Spain).

CAREER AND EMPLOYMENT
The Faculty trains specialists for various organizations: state structures, business enterprises, law-enforcement authorities, attorneys’ offices, public organizations, etc. The graduates of the Faculty successfully work at law-enforcement state and municipal structures of St. Petersburg and Leningrad Oblast, including Kingisepp Prosecution Office, Slantsy Prosecution Office, Kingisepp Customs, Kingisepp Department of Internal Affairs, Judicial Department at the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation and other legal and law-enforcement organizations. Many graduates reach the highest positions in profit and non-profit organizations, as well as are engaged in private law practice.
Law Faculty has international relations with educational institutions and scientific organizations in the USA, Europe and CIS countries. Foreign teachers from the Baltimore University (the USA) and the University of Alcala (Spain) are invited to participate in the educational process.
The Faculty’s staff participate in international conferences and provide students and postgraduates with international training practices.
